‘We should just stop the World Cup there’ Mitchell Marsh
Mitchell Ross Marsh is an Australian international cricketer. Marsh has represented Australia in all three forms of cricket, making his debut during the 2011–12 season. In July 2021, in the first Twenty20 International match of Australia’s tour of the West Indies, Marsh scored his maiden T20I half-century, scoring 51 runs from 31 deliveries. He continued his good form, scoring another half-century in the following match, and in the fourth T20I made 75 runs and took his career-best T20I bowling figures of 3/24. In August 2021, Marsh was named to Australia’s squad for the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. On 14 November 2021, Marsh helped Australia win the 2021 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, scoring 77 runs in the final and earning player of the match.
Marsh Australian all-rounder spends the whole time enjoying the T20 world cup match between India and Pakistan. and said that “gets any better than that, then we are in for an amazing three weeks” India defeated Pakistan by four wickets in the final-over drama at the MCG on Sunday after Virat Kohli stood tall at the end to take India home.
In addition to that, he added that “I actually think we should just stop the World Cup there. Um, if it gets any better than that, we’re in for an amazing three weeks. India v Pakistan is always an incredible game to watch. I can’t imagine what it would be like to have been in that crowd and to be a part of it,”
In the early match, Pakistan has a very strong grip on the match Kohli, and Hardik Pandya took the match deep after Arshdeep Singh’s (3/32) brilliance restricted Pakistan to 159/8. Kohli went after Pakistan bowlers to remain unbeaten on 82 off 53 balls. On that Marsh said that “But yeah. Amazing. Virat Kohli has been through an indifferent 12 months when you think about his career. And for him to do that, um, you know, put his mark on the World Cup and it was an incredible innings to watch, an incredible game. So hopefully, there’s a few more of those,” Arshdeep did very good bowling and set the way tone of the match, he out Babar Azam on his very first bowl. Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed by left-arm bowler and became the first bowler to remove both Pakistan openers in the same innings.
Virat Kohli single-handedly powered India to an epic four-wicket win over arch-rivals Pakistan with a magnificent 53-ball 82 not out in their big-ticket T20 World Cup game here on Sunday. Pakistan recovered from a wobbly start to post a fighting 159 for eight. India completed the chase in the last ball, with Kohli and Hardik Pandya (40) doing the bulk of the scoring after a horror start to their innings. The two revived India with a 113-run stand for the fourth wicket after they were reeling at 31/4 at one stage. Sent in to bat, Pakistan were well served by Iftikhar Ahmed’s 34-ball 51 and Shan Masood’s unbeaten 52 off 42 balls after they lost their first two wickets with just 15 runs on the board in the fourth over.
