Usman ruled out of tri-series, two pacers suffering from viral illness
Pakistan have been hit with a major blow ahead of the second match of the tri-nation T20I series in New Zealand against the hosts at the Hagley Oval stadium in Christchurch today.
According to details, pacers Mohammad Hasnain and Naseem Shah will not be available for today’s match while leg-spinner Usman Qadir has been ruled out of the series.
Usman Qadir sustained a thumb fracture while fielding in the match against England and the 29-year-old bowler is rested for three weeks, which will be completed on October 16th.
Meanwhile, the other two bowlers, Hasnain and Naseem Shah, are suffering from a viral illness.
It must be noted that the Men in Green beat Bangladesh by 21 runs in their first match of the series. Pakistan posted 167-5 and restricted their opponents to 146-8.
