In 2023 6th Production Pause

According to company officials, Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC) has decided to suspend vehicle production again in the same year. In the past company observed four non-production days (NPDs) from March 24, 2023, to March 27, 2023.

For the 6th time in the same year Toyota company has to stop production, As a result of import restrictions by the government Shortage of parts and other equipment is the main cause behind this. According to the notification, the assembly plant again faces suspension in production from July 21 to August 3. The manufacturer notified the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) of the development last week.

Recently company officials declared a complete factory closure from June 26 to June 27, June 3 to June 8, May 2 to May 3, February 1 to February 14, and then again from March 24 to March 27.
