‘NO GOSSIPS, NO NEGATIVITY = HAPPY LIFE’ By STAR SABA QAMAR

Saba Qamar Zaman , known professionally as Saba Qamar, is a Pakistani actress and television presenter. She is one of Pakistan’s most popular and highest-paid celebrities, her roles have been credited as a significant departure from the traditional portrayal of women in Urdu television. Her accolades include four Lux Style Awards, and a Filmfare Award nomination. The Government of Pakistan honoured her Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2012, and the Pride of Performance in 2016. Qamar first received positive media attention for the role of Fatima Jinnah in the historical drama Jinnah Ke Naam (2007), and this breakthrough was followed with further success in several television series, including the pre-partition drama Dastaan, the melodrama Uraan (both 2010), the romantic dramas MaatJo Chale To Jaan Se Guzar Gaye and Pani Jaisa Piyar (all 2011). 

She established herself for her critically acclaimed performances in the socio drama Thakan (2012), the thriller drama Sannata, the revenge drama Ullu Baraye Farokht Nahi, the romantic drama Bunty I Love You (all 2013), the family drama Digest Writer (2014), the crime thriller Sangat (2015), and the Show business-based dramas Mein Sitara and Besharam (both 2016), receiving Best Actress awards and nominations for each of them. Her career prospect advanced with the acclaimed biographical film Manto (2015), the romantic comedy Lahore Se Aagey (2016), and the educational drama Hindi Medium (2017). 

Saba is varstyle actress and can fit in different roles very professionaly. She gained equally success in small TV Scree to big Film screen. Now fans are again very happy to see her back on big screen after long period in movi Ghabrana Nahi Hai releasedd thid eid. Beautiful combination of saba with Zahid Ahmed  got the massive reposnce from the audiance.

Recently Saba gave interview to local media channel and talked about her recent movie project and her about her personal life. On question how was it working with Zahid Ahmed again and is there a cute/funny moment from set you’d like to share?

she replyed that Zahid is a very professional and good human as nature and doning work with him is like a fun. There is only one thing which is not good about him that he is bad time managment man and always came late on the film set. 

Could you summarize your role in movie ‘Ghabrana Nahi Hai’ ?

She said role in the movie is very close to my real life it reveal about women empowerment, i always performing same role in my daily life.So i am sure that people will love my passion and work.

what do you look for in a character/drama when selecting a script? 

she told that she consider both thing story and the script of the role because bothe things are important for powerfull performance and make final product qualitative.

Tell us which project are you most excited for? As you appeared in few drama and films this year.

Well all the work is very close to my heart, she said. I try my best to adopt all the details of my role. My all role are different from each other and have uniq from other. I’m very happy to receive the feedback of my fans who’ve been eagerly waiting for my projects.

How do you deal, when your films/dramas don’t work as well as you had hoped?

Well i thinkg that doing good is my duty and rest is on luck, somany time darama with weak story got massive success but on the other hand drama with powerfull script not get such respose from the audiances. According to my belive every thing good or bad set some lesson for me and i should leanr more and more from my mistakes.

You come across as a very private person.  So, what has led to this personality trait?

TO be happy and successfull i made my own rule and i strongly follow it,  no gossips, no negativity = happy life. I love to enjoy with myself so have very limmited frindships. I am very choosy in this manner. But its not mean that i donot meet meet with any one, being professional i meet and work with all the industry peoples.
