Momal Sheikh discusses Behroze Sabzwari’s remark on women’s Tight Clothes

Momal Sheikh is a Pakistani actress and producer. Her works in serials are Yeh Zindagi Hai in 2008 and Mirat Ul Uroos in 2013. She made her film debut with the 2016 film Happy Bhag Jayegi. Sheikh also co-produced the 2018 film Wujood with Shehzad Sheikh under her father’s production banner Javed Sheikh films which feature Danish Taimoor and Saeeda Imtiaz in lead.

She is the daughter of actor Javed Sheikh and Zinat Mangi and sister of Shehzad Sheikh, niece of Behroze Sabzwari and Saleem Sheikh and cousin of Shehroz Sabzwari. She is married to Nader Nawaz. They have a son named Ibrahim. Momal Sheikh announced the birth of her daughter who was born on 20 August 2020.

Momal Sheikh discussed her thoughts on Behroze Sabzwari‘s contentious remark in a recent interview about women’s clothes on bikes. Momal Sheikh, who is also Behroze Sabzwari’s niece, said: “It is his point of view, maybe it was something he observed while he was coming to the interview and he expressed his thoughts. Maybe it was something that stuck in his mind and he wanted to talk about it, whenever we come to the show we don’t talk about the scripted things, we speak our hearts out, so I can give him the benefit of doubt, maybe it was something disturbing him.”

“Now people should move on and let it go, and if anything has to be asked it should be from Behroze Sabzwari and not me.” She further added,

Behroze Sabzwari recently appeared in Nadir Ali’s podcast and gave an interview and said that actors should pay more attention to their attire and preferably wear the national dress rather than copying western cultures. the topic of the podcast was prevailing vulgarity on TV.

Over this Momal Sheikh said ‘That’s his point of view before his interview probably he saw any one like this and after that he shared it in his interview. In any talk show we didn’t get prepared that we are saying something. But he is sharing what it is in his heart. Its not scripted its from heart. I think that he saw something he shared it and over any question he shared his point of view. Lets move on every thing can not be connected to every thing.’
