It’s 92 all over again: Ahmed Ali Butt, Sana Javed troll India after its exit from T20 WorldCup

It all started with Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan’s tweet on how the “neighbouring country” may have won but they still don’t have grace — and that was enough to trigger all cricket enthusiasts who patiently waited for India’s loss to burn Pathan’s comment to the ground.

Comedian-actor Ahmed Ali Butt took to his Instagram Stories and wrote, “It’s 92 all over again,” referring to team Pakistan’s glorious win in 1992.

Wajahat Rauf also remarked on the victory and took a jibe at Pathan’s ‘grace’ comment on his Instagram Story. “Says someone who created a whole ‘Mauqa Mauqa’ campaign just to diss their neighbours,” he wrote while correcting the cricketer’s spelling.

Sana Javed also chimed in and asked Pathan to not be salty but support the men in green. “You should also watch the match Pakistan v England final on Sunday along with your neighbours. Not on Twitter though, but from your TV live from the stadium.”

The actor also shared memes on Hardik Pandya’s bowling when Jos Buttler hit a four, and a collage showing how Pakistan won by 10 wickets against India back in 2021, just like England and that’s why they’re the deserving team.

Haroon Shahid also joked about India’s loss. “Irfan Pathan would be telling England to ‘show some grace’ to India,” read his tweet.
