Adobe is planning to make Photoshop free on the web soon
According to The Verge, the free version is currently being tested in Canada, where the users can access it through a free Adobe Account. Adobe labels the web-based version as ‘freemium’, which will have the core functions of Photoshop for free. With time, some features will be exclusively available to the subscribers to move the users towards the subscription model.
According to Gizmodo, Adobe has not yet given a timeline regarding when they will make it free for everyone. However, the company does understand the expectations of the audience.
