Saudi Arabia’s TAWAL Telecom steps-in Pakistani market

Finally, after such a long time silence has been broken in Pakistan’s Telecommunication industry and one of the top Sudia Telecom companies TAWAL has announced its entry in Pakistan. TAWAL telecom has received NOC from Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) for operations in Pakistan. However, TAWAL has shown its interest and accepted all the terms and regulations imposed by PTA. TAWAL fulfilled all codal formalities and requisite clearance by relevant stakeholders. However, PTA has issued provincial approval. Whereas, the company will have to change its shareholding from SECP as well.

Sudi telecom TAWAL is one of the most dominant telecom companies in the country and owns more than 15500 towers across the country.  According to the company’s official statement, TAWAL is going to own AWAL telecom and will start operations on Feb 2023 in Pakistan. Current year in February, TAWAL declared that it would be entering the Pakistani market by acquiring AWAL telecom. AWAL Telecom is a company having a telecom tower provider license with up to 70 to 80 towers. TAWAL is a giant group of a telecom companies and it plans to install more telecom towers in Pakistan.

During such financial conditions, the entry of such a big telecom company in Pakistan will give massive development in the market and will uplift the overall financial plight. Near to telecom professionals, TAWAL will give a boost to the Pakistani market in regard to 5G services and will set new standers in Pakistan’s telecom industry.  As in Pakistan, 5G needs more towers and if we talk about TAWAL as a tower company, with innovative ideas and advanced technology will be a great addition to Pakistan’s telecom industry.
