Netflix Reveals First Trailer for Korean Horror Sci-fi Series ‘Parasyte: The Grey’

In the clip, we see a pest of unidentified spongers take over mortal hosts and gain power in South Korea. The logline for the series reads “( Su- by is) a youthful woman caught between her humanity and parasitic influence. Su- in doesn’t completely belong to either side — neither the spongers seeking to take over mortal society nor the platoon devoted to eradicating parasitic organisms, called “ The Grey.

” Produced by Climax Studio and WOW POINT, Parasyte The Grey is grounded on Hitoshi Iwaaki’s best-dealing manga series, Parasyte, which ended with over 25 million clones in over 30 countries. The series stars Jeon So-nee, Koo Kyo-hwan, Lee Jung- hyun, Kwon Hae- ho and Kim In- kwon.

Yeon created, co-wrote and directed Parasyte The Grey. He achieved global fame with his 2016 zombie point Train to Busan and its standalone effect, Peninsula( 2020). Yeon’s Netflix supernatural series Hellbound, which debuted its first season in 2021, has also been a huge critical megahit. An alternate season of Hellbound has been verified by the banderole.
