Majestic Pakistani Drama Parizaad

Parizaad  is a Pakistani television series written by Hashim Nadeem, based on his novel of the same name, directed by Shahzad Kashmiri and produced by Momina Duraid Productions. It first aired on Hum Television from 20 July 2021. The series stars Ahmed Ali Akbar in the titular role alongside Yumna Zaidi, Ushna Shah, Saboor Aly, Urwa Hocane, Nauman Ijaz and Mashal Khan in prominent roles.

The story revolves around a dark-skinned college student, Parizaad. Parizaad is someone who has grown up with self esteem and confidence issues. Despite society’s judgement of him, he is very hardworking, extremely respectful and well-mannered and creates a lasting impression on anyone he meets. This drama takes us along his journey of the friends and enemies he meets along his life as he tackles with his inner fight of choosing his true passion of poetry or choosing a realistic job that can provide income for his family.

The Number of Episodes had been increased from 28 to 29 due to huge popularity among the audience, in addition to that it had become another Pakistani drama whose last episode was also released on big screen along with TV . 1 Feb on tv and it was released in cinemas on Jan 28, Friday, four days before the TV release on Hum TV,” Nasar Khan, Hum Network’s PR Manager.

“There is no reason as such [for the change of date]. They just decided to add an extra episode so the dates have been pushed back,” he explained that the episode that was supposed to be the last is now the second last and the dates have shifted to accommodate the finale.

Recently, Ahmed Ali Akbar opened up about his character in Parizaad and was all-praises for the writer, Hashim Nadeem. Ahmed stated that when he went through the script, he couldn’t stop himself to doing such a refined script and went all-in for this mega-hit. He further stated that he had a little idea of the script having an impact on the audience to some extent but he did not assume getting so much love, admiration, and acknowledgment.
