Google is Now Officially Registered as a Company in Pakistan

After sudi telecom another technology giant from ameria has been enterned in Pakistan, yes it is Google who entered it self as offical company in SECP Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan. As per offcial statment, SECP has recently issued the company registration certificate to Google under section 435 of the companies Act 2017.

Social media companies had to open offices in the country. Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Syed Aminul Haque told a private TV channel that following the registration of the American multinational technology company, other social media platforms will also establish offices in Pakistan. “TikTok will soon set up its office in Pakistan.

As per to officials, Google after registration with SECP will start its operations in Pakistan very soon. A Google delegation coming to Pakistan next week will meet the Pakistani authorities and discuss its operations in Pakistan.  Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) has bee in touch with international companies from last somany months and was trying hard to bring them to Pakistan, but the companies were reluctant due to the political instability.

Companies remain reluctant due to the lack of trust and inconsistent policies,” he said while maintaining that his ministry will offer complete support to foreign companies. Pakistan’s government, as per social media rules, has made registration mandatory for companies and Google registered itself as a company in this context. In September Google introduced career certifications to offer easy learning ways to all Pakistanis.
